The Los Cabos municipal government completed road and lighting repairs in the 4 de Marzo neighborhood of Cabo San Lucas this week. The work is part of the municipality’s Transformación Vial, or Road Transformation, program.
Carlos Alberto Beltrán Olmeda, the municipality’s chief administrative officer, said crews found more than 15 broken street lights on a single stretch of road. Workers replaced the bulbs and rehabilitated the electrical lines, restoring service to the area.
A second phase of work followed. Crews cleaned streets, repainted traffic markings, repaired speed bumps, and repainted curbs. The municipality says the combined work improves safety for both drivers and pedestrians.
Beltrán Olmeda said the Transformación Vial program will continue expanding to other neighborhoods across Los Cabos. Upcoming work will focus on street lighting maintenance, traffic signage, and general urban infrastructure upkeep.
