Tijuana’s Las Pulgas venue will host a lucha libre card this Sunday, May 10, billed as a Mother’s Day special. The main event features the return of “Los Locos del Ring,” the tag team of TJ Boy and Crazy Frank, in a three-way match against two other squads.

Los Locos del Ring will face “La Familia de Tijuana,” made up of Hijo de Rey Misterio and Halloween NG, along with “Los Macizos,” the team of Miedo Extremo and Cíclope. TJ Boy told Semanario ZETA that fans should expect some extreme action in the headliner.

TJ Boy Marks Tijuana Comeback

The wrestler said his team has been performing in San Diego but is only now returning to Tijuana rings. “Other promotions had talked to us, but nothing was finalized. We never reached a good agreement,” TJ Boy said. “We hope that from now on other companies give us the chance to show what we can still do.”

The semifinal bout pits Microman and Annubis against Gallo Extreme and Mini Sorpresa. A third match on the card features the “Lucha Solos” team of Arkángel Divino and Último Maldito versus the “Popet Boys” duo of Aztec Fly and Khavall Gym. Two additional undercard bouts round out the evening.

Tickets and Showtime

Bell time is set for 5:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the Las Pulgas box office, at the Auditorio Fausto Gutiérrez, and online through primerafila.mx.

Las Pulgas, located in the heart of Tijuana, has operated as an entertainment venue since 1988. It is known primarily as a nightlife spot but regularly hosts special events, including live music and now lucha libre. The venue sits just minutes from the San Ysidro border crossing, making it accessible for those coming from San Diego.

Lucha libre, Mexico’s masked professional wrestling tradition, draws dedicated followings on both sides of the border. Tijuana has a long history as a hub for independent wrestling promotions, and the Auditorio Municipal has hosted major cards from CMLL as recently as April 2025.
