The Baja California Attorney General’s Office (FGE) is asking the public for help locating a 30-year-old man who disappeared in Ensenada more than a week ago.
Delfino Omar Jacobo Medina was last seen on April 8 in the Cañón Buenavista neighborhood, a residential area on Ensenada’s eastern side. The FGE issued a public alert with his physical description and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
Physical Description and Identifying Tattoos
Jacobo Medina is described as slim with light brown skin, short black hair, a beard and mustache, and dark brown eyes. He has a flat nose with a mole on it.
Two tattoos may help identify him. He has the name “Keyla” tattooed on his right arm and “Anita” tattooed on his neck. These details could prove critical for anyone who may have encountered him since his disappearance.
How to Report Information
The FGE is asking anyone with information about Jacobo Medina’s whereabouts to call (646) 152-25-00, extensions 2559 or 2560. Tips can also be reported through the national emergency number, 911.
Cañón Buenavista sits east of downtown Ensenada, roughly 10 minutes from the tourist corridor along Avenida López Mateos. The neighborhood borders the hillside canyons that extend toward the city’s outskirts.
Disappearances Remain a Persistent Concern
Missing persons cases remain a serious issue across Baja California. Mexico’s national registry of missing and unlocated persons lists thousands of open cases in the state. The FGE regularly issues public search alerts and relies on community tips to help locate individuals.
Anyone in the Ensenada area who believes they have seen Jacobo Medina or has relevant information is encouraged to contact authorities immediately. As originally reported by Ensenada.net, prompt reporting can make a significant difference in the outcome of missing persons investigations.
