The Baja California Attorney General’s Office (FGE) is asking for public help locating 14-year-old Eduarth Jackob Ojeda García, who was last seen on April 8, 2026, in the San Carlos area of Ensenada municipality. His whereabouts remain unknown more than two weeks after his disappearance.
Authorities described Ojeda García as approximately 1.80 meters tall (about 5 feet 11 inches), with a light brown complexion, slender build, dark wavy hair, and light brown eyes. The FGE’s Ensenada Missing Persons Search Unit issued the bulletin calling on anyone with information to come forward.
How to Report Information
Anyone who has seen Ojeda García or has information about his location can contact the Ensenada Missing Persons Search Unit at 646-152-2500, extensions 2559 or 2560. Tips can also be reported by calling 911.
San Carlos sits southeast of central Ensenada, along the road toward Ojos Negros and the inland agricultural areas of the municipality. The area is home to a mix of residential developments and rural stretches.
Pattern of Youth Disappearances in Ensenada
Ojeda García’s case is not isolated. The FGE also issued search bulletins this month for three teenage girls who disappeared on April 19, 2026, from the Fraccionamiento Bahía neighborhood in Ensenada. According to a report from N+, the three missing teens are Raquel Ojeda Camero, Sureidye Elizabeth Garibo Esperanza, and Yoslin Nataly Corona Quintero, ages 14 and 16. All three were last seen in the same housing development on the same day.
The cluster of missing-minor cases in Ensenada during April 2026 has drawn attention from state media outlets. Baja California has long struggled with missing persons cases, and advocacy groups have pushed the state government to dedicate more resources to search efforts, particularly for minors.
The FGE operates dedicated missing persons units in each of its regional offices. The Ensenada unit handles cases across the municipality, which spans from the Pacific coast east into the Sierra de Juárez.
