When last seen, she was wearing black pants, a black skirt, a black hoodie, yellow sneakers, and carrying a black backpack. The FGE urged residents to contact their offices at the Ensenada area code (646) 152 phone line, though the full number was not included in the public alert.

San Quintín and Missing Persons in Rural Baja

San Quintín is a farming and fishing community in the municipality of Ensenada, home to a large population of agricultural workers and their families. The town sits along the Transpeninsular Highway (Highway 1) and is a common stop for travelers heading farther south on the Baja peninsula.

Missing persons cases involving minors in rural parts of Baja California often face slower response times because of limited local law enforcement resources. Public alerts like this one from the FGE play a critical role in spreading awareness quickly across communities that may not have a strong police presence.

Mexico’s missing persons crisis remains a national concern. According to official federal records, tens of thousands of people are listed as disappeared across the country. In Baja California, the FGE routinely issues search bulletins for missing individuals, and community cooperation has been credited with helping locate missing minors in past cases.

Anyone who has seen Almareli or has information about her location should contact the FGE immediately. This story was first reported by Ensenada.net.
