Baja California state prosecutors issued a public bulletin asking for help locating Julio César Camacho Macliz, a 49-year-old Ensenada man missing since June 1, 2026. He was last seen at the corner of Calle 11 and Avenida Riveroll in downtown Ensenada, a well-trafficked area just blocks from the city’s main commercial district.
The Fiscalía General del Estado (FGE), Baja California’s state attorney general’s office, released the bulletin through its Unidad de Búsqueda de Personas Desaparecidas, the agency’s Missing Persons Search Unit.
Physical Description and Last Known Clothing
Camacho Macliz is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and approximately 143 pounds with a slim build. He has a light brown complexion, dark wavy hair, and light brown eyes.
When last seen, he was wearing blue Levi’s jeans, a black short-sleeve t-shirt, a brown and beige plaid jacket, and black sneakers. Prosecutors are asking anyone who recognizes the description or has seen Camacho Macliz to contact the Missing Persons Search Unit directly.
Downtown Location Familiar to Residents and Visitors
The intersection of Calle 11 and Avenida Riveroll sits in Ensenada’s centro histórico, an area frequented by both locals and visitors. Avenida Riveroll runs parallel to the tourist corridor along Avenida López Mateos, placing the last known sighting in one of the city’s most populated zones.
Missing persons cases remain a serious concern across Baja California. The state’s FGE maintains a dedicated search unit that issues public bulletins as a standard tool to gather tips from the community. The agency handles dozens of active disappearance cases at any given time across the state’s five municipalities.
How to Report Information
Anyone with information about Julio César Camacho Macliz’s whereabouts can contact Baja California’s Missing Persons Search Unit through the FGE. Reports can be made in person at local FGE offices or through the agency’s emergency and tip lines. Callers do not need to provide their name to submit a tip.
