Boulevard Constituyentes de 1975 is a well-traveled road in southeastern La Paz. Colonia Fidepaz sits in a residential area of the city that has seen steady development in recent years. The boulevard carries heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic during daytime hours, making the location of the discovery unusual.

No Public Safety Threat Indicated

Authorities have not issued any public safety warnings in connection with the incident. The cordoned area disrupted traffic along the boulevard during the afternoon, though no official road closure announcements were made.

La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur, has experienced a rise in criminal incidents in recent months. In a separate case earlier in 2025, a charred body was found inside a burned vehicle in another part of the city, prompting authorities to reinforce security patrols in the northern zone. There is no indication the two cases are connected.

The investigation into Tuesday’s discovery remains active. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact local authorities.
