Jorge Medina and Josi Cuen, both former lead vocalists of La Arrolladora Banda El Limón de René Camacho, will perform together in Tijuana on Friday, June 12. The concert is part of their joint project JUNTOS and its touring show, La Máquina del Tiempo Tour.
The performance will take place at Toros Mobil Park, one of Tijuana’s primary large-scale concert venues. The stadium is located on Avenida Las Américas in the El Paraíso neighborhood. No ticket prices or show start times have been announced publicly.
Two Voices From One of Banda’s Biggest Groups
La Arrolladora Banda El Limón is one of the most successful acts in regional Mexican music. Medina and Cuen each served as the group’s lead vocalist during different periods, and both are credited with some of the band’s biggest hits.
Their JUNTOS project reunites the two singers on stage to perform songs from their shared catalog. The setlist is expected to include “Cuéntame,” “Te perdí la fe,” “El ruido de tus zapatos,” “En los purititos huesos,” “Ya es muy tarde,” “Sobre mis pies,” “Media Naranja,” “En tiempo y forma,” and the tour’s title track, “La máquina del tiempo.”
Tour Dates Across Mexico This Summer
The Tijuana stop is one of several dates on the La Máquina del Tiempo Tour this summer. Previous tour stops included Estadio Corregidora in Santiago de Querétaro on May 30 and Multiforo Zacatecas in Guadalupe on June 5. After Tijuana, the tour continues to other cities across Mexico.
Cuen launched his solo career in 2021 with the album “Querer Es Poder” and is known for solo hits like “Y Que Critiquen.” Medina has also maintained an active solo career since leaving La Arrolladora. Their reunion under the JUNTOS banner has drawn attention from fans of the banda genre across the country.
Toros Mobil Park has become a regular host for major concerts in Tijuana in recent years, welcoming both national and international acts. The venue sits roughly 15 minutes by car from the San Ysidro border crossing, making it accessible for those coming from the U.S. side.
